After Nature Park “Piva”, the equipment for fieldwork and biodiversity monitoring was donated to the rangers from the National Park “Durmitor”, so fourteen of them received one set of equipment each, for work in autumn and winter conditions: shoes, jackets, pants, raincoats, sweatshirts, hats, which will help along with the movement on the cliffs of Durmitor. Apart from them, the equipment was also donated to Belma Šestović, an expert associate for the protection of fauna in the Public Company for National Parks of Montenegro (JPNP CG). NP “Durmitor” and JPNP CG, as co-workes and end-users of the project, received also two binoculars Vortexoptics CF HD 10 × 42 (Diamondback) and one binoculars Swarovski Habicht, as well as five camera traps. Previously, an ultrasonic detector for bats monitoring was donated.
This was just a continuation of the very good cooperation of the project partners with these institutions, all with the aim of strengthening the capacity to improve the protection of biodiversity in the NP “Durmitor”, which is one of the specific goals of the Bear in Mind project.
