Thanks to the donation within the Bear in Mind project, the Nature Park ”Blidinje” will have at its disposal quality equipment for fieldwork, which will be useful for future activities when it comes to monitoring and protection of biodiversity in this protected area. The representative of the ornithological society “Naše ptice” from Sarajevo, which is one of the partners in the project, Ms. Josipa Bagarić, handed over five sets of equipment for rangers (T-shirt, jacket, raincoat, hat, pants and shoes), three binoculars (Zeiss TED family) and three camera traps (HC-802A) to the director of the nature park “Blidinje”, Mr. Zdravko Kutle.
This is the continuation of the procurement and allocation of biodiversity monitoring equipment to the final beneficiaries of the project, cross-border protected areas (NP Durmitor and Nature park Piva in Montenegro, NP Sutjeska and Nature park Blidinje in B&H), which will be very useful for the employees of protected areas who will perform all types of field activities, which is another way to contribute to the improvement of protected area management through the Bear in Mind project.
