Fantastic cooperation with the director and emploies of Nature park ”Piva”, achieved through the implementation of the ”Bear in Mind” project, resulted in the procurement and donation of very valuable professional equipment for biodiversity monitoring: 5 sets of rangers’ equipment for fieldwork (shoes, jackets, pants, raincoats, sweatshirts, hats), three binoculars Vortexoptics CF HD 10×42 (Diamondback) and one spotting scope Swarovski ATX / STX / BTX for birdwatching and five trail cameras.
Donated equipment, together with monitoring protocols for protected birds and mammals species, will be of great importance for the improvement of the monitoring of biodiversity in this protected area.
